Our DEG Programme offers exceptional graduates an invaluable opportunity to master the managerial and technical skills required by Airbus. It combines structured placements with focused training at Airbus UK sites in Broughton and Filton. Opportunities for travel on international placements with Airbus or with external customers and suppliers may also be available.

The Direct Entry Graduate Programme is a two-year programme (except for Finance, which is a three-year programme) that combines structured placements with focused training programmes at our UK sites in Filton (Bristol) and Broughton (North Wales).

From the beginning of the programme each graduate is assigned to a particular function or ‘target area’. In this way you can be guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function, the wider business and sometimes with customers and suppliers.

This practical experience is complemented by a number of valuable training programmes covering the following topics: behavioural development and personal effectiveness, business awareness and technical understanding and cultural awareness.

At the end of the two years, if you have demonstrated the necessary skills, capabilities and potential, you will be considered for a role within that function.

The DEG Programme is also offering some transnational opportunities in France, Germany and Spain, as well as the UK. Please note that these opportunities are only for Engineering – Structures applicants.

Applicants to the DEG Programme who reach the assessment stage will be given the chance to state their interest in an international placement. A decision about your working destination will be made during the selection process at the assessment centre.

The transnational opportunities are within the following areas:
- Structures Stress
- Structures Design
- Structures Materials & Processes
- Structures Architecture & Integration
